Alex:

Basic Requirements

- I have two company wide email addresses that I want to use to process
all customer correspondence - sales@ and support@
- I do not want our personal email correspondence (such as dc@) to be
recorded in Salesforce
- I want to be able to create and reply to emails either in Salesforce or
in Google Apps (Gmail) and know that all correspondence is being logged in
Salesforce under the proper account (based upon email address)
- I would like to be able to manually assign emails to particular ...

Alex- I have a few questions when you have a moment.

Alex Schliker
Hi David - happy to answer your questions. What are they?
David
I am trying to gain a better understanding of what initiates the automation
process from our Google Apps account into a Salesforce record and how it
does that. Also, we store all activities in our Leads and our
Opportunities. We do not store activities in Accounts or Contacts. We use
contact roles in Opportunities and do everything out of the Opportunity
page. Is there a way the automated filling engine can file emails with
Opportunities rather than Contacts?

Regards,

*Please note our new phone number:* ...
Alex Schliker
We'll support Opportunities sometime this Spring (alongside the Spring
release of SF). bear with us!
David
Ok. How about my first question. How does Cure know to take Gmail and put
it into Salesforce?

Regards,

*Please note our new phone number:*

Alex Schliker
It looks at the emails in your inbox and tries to connect them directly to
those objects using email addresses.
David
Does it search the body for emails addresses in forwarded emails?

Hi Alex

Can Cure run standalone without using something like salesforce?
I integrated it into my googleapps mail with mozilla. not too sure how it
works yet.
I read the FAQ's...but that didn't really help. Do you have a link that
explains it better?

Thanks

Val

Alex Schliker
Yes, Cure can run standalone and we're seeing a lot of new accounts do just
that.

Hi Alex,

i allready sent an email to f***@c***.***<mailto:f***@c***.***>, but i could ask you as well.
I need an email app, that automaticlly tracks all in- and outgoing emails from my accounters, and show it automaticlly on the activitys in a lead/account/contact.
How does your programm work, what do i need to install? Could you please send me a short tutorial.
Is it possible to try your service?
And last but not least, how much does this service cost?? We would need 4-5 licenses.
Best regards ...
Alex Schliker
You need to install this into SF:
http://sites.force.com/appexchange/listingDetai...
A

The product grabs new messages in IMAP and tries to connect them to Leads,
Contacts, and Cases automatically. There is a short tutorial/video
available on
http://curecrm.com/blog/2010/feb/11/major-new-r...

There is 30 day trial for our services.

4-5 licenses – I recommend getting the “Pro” service level - $50/mo for up
to 10 accounts.

Mike
Yes, why can't I use it on the Contact Manager Edition of Salesforce grrrr
:-)

I signed up without realising it looks like I need Group Edition to access
any apps?

But I'm not a group! Is there any way around this that you know of? Your
app looks so useful.
Alex Schliker
Does contact manager even support 3rd party appex packages?

Sent via phone - please excuse typos...
Mike
Now that I look into it, I don't think it does, which is a major bummer
since they are what sold me and it was pretty much represented that way...my
bad of course for not finding the fine print in my 3 hour search of features
:)

So, CureCRM will work on Groups Edition then, right? No other way to get
your functionality?

Thanks for the quick reply...I suppose having a CRM system puts a lot of
pressure on you to have really great customer relations, bummer! :)
Alex Schliker
Yes, Cure will work with Group ed. Unfort, there is no other way around
that.

We have the best! Just ask our customers (or read the reviews on AppEx)

Nitin
Alex,

We are working on transitioning from trial to signing up on salesforce, but
have been without service for a week. Once we get up and around, I have no
problem writing a review.
Alex Schliker
No worries Nitin - I'm happy to help with anything.
Nitin
Alex,

Can we discuss pricing for CureCRM service? I came across this link
https://curecrm.com/info/go/pro/. Also, we are interested in syncing the
e-mail history of five accounts; however, I remember the amount per account
was a little steep.

Thanks

Alex Schliker
Hi John,

Did you have any questions about Cure?
John
Hey Alex -

You guys came recommended to us as we are looking to use your program to process emails to lead. We currently use a default account that then gets forwarded to a sales rep. We would want to have these emails recorded as leads. Can you let me know how we set this up and what else we should be using your program for?
Alex Schliker
Sure thing, John.

Simply install this into SF:
http://sites.force.com/appexchange/listingDetai...

Then setup the IMAP settings for the default account to record these
emails to leads and contacts. There is a nice and simple "CureCRM" tab
that enables you to see messages as they get synced automatically.
John
Thanks Alex.

I installed the program, but I have to admit I am still a neophyte when it comes to SalesForce.

What is the default account?

We use a dummy account called c***@j***.*** that is then redirected internally to sales people. Any emails coming into this email we want recorded into lead. How do I set that up?

Let me know when you have a chance.
Alex Schliker
Now that it's installed, click the arrow to setup the "CureCRM" tab:
http://screencast.com/t/MGJiZmIw

Then click "Customize my tabs" to add the tab:

Then visit the "CureCRM" tab and click the signup button.
Alex Schliker
Hey John, just curious - who recommended us?
John
A salesforce consultant by the name of Tim Wells.

JC
Alex Schliker
Sounds familiar.
John
Alex -

Who can I speak with at Cure CRM to help me configure the system? I have it set up but it doesn't appear to being pulling any contacts from our leads email or creating any new leads. I am sure it's a configuration error, but wanted to get some help setting it up.
Alex Schliker
John,

I'm happy to chat with you directly about Cure. Let me know if you can chat
Wednesday at 1 pacific?

Jeremy
Yes. I didn't see in the demo video how it tracks inbound emails. How does that work?

And what is the cost of your solution?
Alex Schliker
The cost is 14.95/mo (for 1 user) or 49.95 (10 users) and the service
connects to your IMAP account to detect relationships with SF leads,
contacts, and cases - it then records the emails.

Alex Schliker

Emil
David,

You're probably among the Salesforce customers that haven't yet been
upgraded to Spring '10. Please try version 2.15 of CureCRM, available here:
https://login.salesforce.com/?startURL=%2Fpacka...

You should be upgraded to Spring '10 automatically this weekend (see
http://trust.salesforce.com/trust/status/ ), and after that you can
upgrade CureCRM to the latest version. Our apologies for the inconvenience.
