I'm using Google Chrome 5.0.375.29 and the CureCRM doesn't appear coorectly in my GoogleApps account. Is there any problem in Google Chrome?

Thanks for the email, I am looking into a better way to track emails within salesforce. I need to play around with your mail app and see if it will work best for us. We have people using Macs and PC and we need a better way to track email histories.

Hey Alex,

Below are this particular customers requirements that i'm trying to solve
using cure

1.1 Email Integration

The Sales staff uses Nokia and Blackberry mobile phones that sync
automatically with Outlook. It would be preferable if the mobile phones
could sync automatically with a CRM. Alternatively as the mobile phones
currently sync with Outlook, Outlook could automatically sync with a CRM. The
information to sync would be emails (including attachments), contacts and
calendar.

We currently have to switch between Outlook and Salesforce to receive and ...

Not 100% sure what they're using, looks like maybe just a standard pop3
account

Would want to propose they move to Google Apps

Need to get some more information on your offering and how this works with

I've tried time and again to use the Gmail add-on... but each time I log-in it just refreshes the exact same screen and repeats the log-in - Am I doing something wrong?

Hi Alex,

Actually I'm having trouble getting started, I cannot login to Cure inside
Salesforce (from the CureSync tab), although curecrm.com is syncing my
emails.

Please let me know where I should go for assistance fixing my
Cure/Salesforce issues.

I just checked your account and it looks like it's syncing to Salesforce.
Would you mind sending me a screenshot of your CureCRM tab? If you need to,
I would logout of the CureCRM tab and try to login again.

I am evaluating some solutions which I can use - to track conversations
which goes on between a sales rep from the salesforce lead and customer.
That way sales reps work from within the salesforce and donot worry about
missing email and manually copying that to the Lead.

As part of that exercise,

I have following questions for you

1. Whats difference between The desktop plugin tool and the
salesforce connector?

2. Do both perform same functions?

3. Does cureCRM tools monitor the sales reps mail boxes and let them ...

1. The desktop app requires a Salesforce edition that supports API access – it simply syncs emails into Salesforce via your desktop. The CureCRM app for Salesforce is what we recommend highly as it does most syncing automatically.

2. Syncing emails – yes

3. There is no manual selection of emails to be synced – everything happens automatically

4. We’re adding Person accounts and Opportunities this spring

Answer - There is no manual selection of emails to be synced everything
happens automatically

This leads to my next question does the cureCRM sync all the emails, even
the ones which do not have a corresponding Lead in salesforce, or only those
emails get synched which have a corresponding Lead and Contact in
Salesforce? ...

No we only sync emails that are directly related to leads and contacts on sf.

Hi

I am using Outlook 2007 in VMWare 3.0. Once I log in using the plug-in;
every works fine initially but I start getting a script error every time a
go and click on a new email. The error arises primarily if the plug in
detects a new contact or if I click on changing or adding details for the
contact. It becomes difficult to use as the error ( see attached) pops up
every time you clink on a new email or view in Outlook. You eventually have
to log out of the plug in to stop the error.

First off, the product is working great and is by far the best solution that we have seen.

I had two questions:

With the new upgrade, does the multiple email address syncing just work or is there something we need to do to activate it?
Is there anyway to attach an email to a contract record that was not directly sent or received by them? This would really help us because we send internal emails that we would like to be able to manually attach to the contact record.

1. Yes - it should work (if we're referring to multiple email fields)

2. Not yet - this process is very "manual" and we've been focusing
fully on "automation" - we may add this in our next SF release.

Alex - one more question. We have sensitive client data, we are currently using google apps and having you sync in the cloud. Should we set up something within our corporate firewall? Is the desktop app more secure?

Desktop app runs behind the firewall... You need sf API access to use
it.

One more thing - you can modify your accounts retention setting so that
sensitive emails are wiped away after X days from CureCRM's servers. This
is probably what I recommend to you over the desktop app:
